Rapper Chingy is set to try for another hip hop come back with a digital project, 1st Quarter, featuring appearances by Gucci Mane and Soulja Boy Tell Em.
Described as a mixtape-style album, 1st Quarter is Chingy's first release in two years.
Set to be release on May 12, the album is comprised of 13 tracks, including P*ssy N*gga, Hatin On Myself, Lovely Ladies, and Balla.
The album will be released on the rapper's own Slot-A-Lot Records in conjuction with Gracie Productions.
"While most people in the music business are cutting back, Gracie Productions continues to expand with digital-only releases and physical releases by great artists," Gracie Urban Division President Dorian Washington said in a statement. "We are thrilled to have an artist of Chingy's caliber partner with Gracie. This is an incredible album, and a tribute to how great an artist Chingy continues to be."
As previously reported by Yo! Raps, the rapper also recently made headlines for his alleged involvement with a transsexual.
In an effort to defend his manhood, Chingy took to the radio to deny the reports saying, "The transsexual they tryin' to say that the sh*t happened with, I don't even know that person. Never seen that person a day in my life. Only thing that person knew was my name and who don't know my real name? I say my real name in my motherf*cking raps so everyone knows I'm Howard Bailey. But you know, that's just some funny sh*t, what they're trying to pull off."
Mike Tyson biopic is in the works and superstar Jamie Foxx is willed to play the infamous boxer, in the same way he did with music legend Ray Charles.
"I think I would have to play Mike Tyson. I've talked to Mike several times and his story is the most tragic American story," Foxx told WENN.
"Mike's story is about what America and the world is about today... Coming up at 18-years-old and getting his $60 million and not teaching him what taxes are about, about vultures, about people who will never be real with you as long as you have the money," the singer/actor continued.
"I'm working on securing the rights to the movie," he added.
